Question Hey Mr Murphy...

I used to race remote control trucks a few years ago, I have the Lost xxt, with alot of engines & batteries etc... Which one of your kits would be best for me, considering that I have ALL the hardware already. I would need a steering servo etc, but no engine parts. I have seen a tamaia <sp?> one at the local Hobbie Bench, that goes for like $90. I didnt look at what comes with this one, but what are the differences between this & the two you have? I will be wanting the fastest one (of course) but I already have the engine, & several battery packs (oh ya, will the cell packs that I use for the Losi xxt work with the Lightning?) so I dont want to really buy any extra parts if you know what i mean. Thx for the info I know you have explained these b4, but I would like to know what the difference between what you sell & the one sitting down @ Hobbie Bench.

Hey Yoda,

did you use to race at SRS? I've got a huge collection of RC buggies and trucks. LOSI XXCR Kinwald, XX4 buggy, Team associated B3's, a T3 and my newest addition is a touring car (Yokomo MR4TC). If you haven't raced lately, SRS just starting racing the on road touring cars on Friday nights. They are located on Scottsdale road just north of Thomas (pull into Plaza 777). Maybe I'll see ya there sometime.

Yoda:

Best bet is the Tamita racing chassis.
Comes with no motor/radio/speed control.
Lots of good chassis goodies, though.

That costs you $109 and the body is $17 unpainted or $37 painted. UPS is $5-7, not sure as I have not shipped one naked before.

Let me know what you want to do.

Bill

Yoda,

I got into the RC scene just before last Christmas. And have raced at SRS several times since then. Heres the race night break down: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, is off road buggy and trucks. Friday nights are on road 4WD touring cars. My boss and I usually are at the track (practicing) Wednesdays after 4:00 pm till dark (not lately as the days are short). You definitly need to dust off your Losi, yes, $8 to race, but practice nights are free. Yeah, we definitely need to meet sometime.
