Hey Spiro-
Not a bother. I talked to the dealer yesterday, after they finally had time to get to mine since having on Monday, and they said the mech. couldn't find a leak anywhere on it. I clued them in (again) that it was probably internal. They had replaced the taillights on Monday for moisture getting into them and that has been it. I'm sure I'll find out more this Monday.

Hey PFA,
I told Them where to look and what to order when I saw them at PRI, I also saw a nice set up for converting a non-lightning 5.4L to a intercooled, blower aplication.

Mjolnir,
Thanks for your help with this. I thought that there was going to be a problem when I talked to the dealer on Friday. Hope I'm not without for too long. Do you know if the parts are readily available or will it take a while to get?
By the way, was you able to relay any info to Chris about the rpm hesitation around 3700 rpm's?

If I remember correctly, you were thinking about getting that setup for a 5.4, weren't you?

Thanks again!

They are suppose to start working on it Friday and think they'll get it done so I can get it back! It's HELL going from that wonderful machine to a little, go nowhere, can't get out of my own way Escort!

I bet, I can't even fit in an escort. THe intercooler is supposed to be test and available soon but who known when a service part will be available. This should take care of the problem.

Well now the Lightning is done but I also had a ticking noise, that has been discovered to be a belt. They put water on the belt while it was ticking and it went away. As soon as the water was gone it came back. Needless to say, they didn't have a supercharger belt in stock but will be in Monday....

Hey Spiro
This seams to be the reason. I won't be 100% sure until I drive it a while. I'm going to ask to see the old one if they haven't already sent it back.

Hey PFA, Spiro here. Was wondering how your truck has been since the Intercooler swap? For the past 10 days I have not noticed any difference in the Intercooler reservoir level. It seems to be holding steady.Don`t mean to be a pain.Just seems a little strange that at one point I was losing coolant, but now I`m not.Not sure If I should bring my SVT to the dealership. Thanks again for any insight on this problem.

Cool

PFA see if the dealership still has the intercooler and see if they can pressure check it. I did this with a heater core on my Syclone. It was fogging my windshield at 17000 miles. I pulled it pressurized one hole to 14 psi and plugged the other, put it in water and sure enough bubbles came up. Just a thought to tell for sure it we might have an intercooler problem on our lightnings.
