Thanks Babolt,
I will email you the next time I want to post a pic...
That is the best pic I have taken of my truck so far, you like?
Believe it or not, that was taken in West Tx at work (Goodyear Proving Grounds) with a sweet digital camera.
I will try and get some more as soon as I get a chance.
Thanks again...

****,
Thanks for your compliments on my pics.
So far the best I have done has been 13.16 at 104.8 mph w/a 1.96 60 ft time. This was with all accesories and a lot of excess weight on street tires. The weather was better than usual, but still not as good as it could have been.
If I get some slicks or DR's on it, and lose some of the parasitic weight (mine included) I expect to see some mid 12's in the not too distant future.

Hey Dave!
Remember when this photo was taken. I have a lot more at http://www.zing.com under the title "1999 Ford F150 Lightning Photos". You can also create a photo site there from which you can post from.
Additionally,if when you create your album and you grant open access to others they can post photos to the album too. Give it a try.
Its a good way to make your photos handy if you do a lot of traveling.

Wyldman,
Those are great times, I remember you said you still had traction problems with the Cal-Tracs, did they help though (having mine installed on Tuesday)?

Brimstone,
Yes I still have a couple of traction issues, but Calvert Racing has promised to send me the longer center links and I can install them myself pretty easily. Then I'll be able to preload the springs properly and we'll see what additional control I'll get at that point.
The Cal-Tracs do help even with the wrong center links, but I am hoping that between more practice launching Beastie and the preloaded springs, I may get her into the 12's w/o much more prodding. I think my mph indicates that better times are just over the horizon if can just get some bite. Maybe even a mid 12?! (I hope, I hope, I hope!)
Only time will tell. I am not sorry for having purchased them and will recommend them to anyone wanting to better control traction, especially on street tires at the track.
I may even have a chance at FFW or WFC next year (delusions of grandeur floating around in my skull.....).

Hey Wyldman,
I'll let you know how it goes with the Cal-Tracs install on Tuesday. Besides you I am the only other L owner to order them. They did tell me they sent you the older Lightning kit. They talked to my suspension guy directly to get the proper measurements from him, and I'm hoping we won't run into the same problems you did, although we are expecting the exhaust to be in the way by less than an inch.
