Question Improving the intercooler

Does anyone know what controls the intercooler pump? Has anyone mounted a cooling fan on the IC radiator? Seems to me we could pick up a little by running the pump w/ a cooling fan to keep things cool at the line and at low speeds.

Talk to "High Risk" he has more than one cooling fan on his intercooler rad (three I believe). I will let him address the issues. This past summer I ran a slush mixture in my intercooler system and changed it between runs. Have another plan in mind now, it is not new and I do know someone who uses it to their advantage (check the Watson Engineeing Mustang).
