Connection on the air box
What happens if I do not connect it up. Will it cause something that can hurt the motor.

Hey Jerrod, Sal here. The IAT sensor gives information to the PCM about the air that is entering the engine. It uses this information to calculate timing and A/F ratios. It should be placed back in the intake stream, but if you can't do that, the least you can do is just plug the sensor back in and secure it somewhere near the filter.

Thanks Sal, I am a new member. I have gotten a lot of great info from this board. Hopefully I will be able to give input also. I bought a mass air sensor from Sean Hyland (before I joined this board). It came with a conical filter on it. The sensor will fit in the end of it but the connection wire is not long enough to reach it. Might have to do some rigging.
Thanks for info.
