Thumbs up

Hey HIPO67GT,

I have the Superchip and it works GREAT now. I did have some problems at first, but now it is all fixed. I was very impressed with the loyalty superchip has to there customers. Mike Troyer, the superchip distributor, is very knowledgeable about the chips and he can be reached at (540) 862-9515.

I know that others are happy with Sal's chip too. I can just give you an opinion on my experience with superchips.

I know that this program I have now and the better connection on the board really woke this truck up. I could not believe it. Good Luck.

I have Sals chip and am very happy with it also. Sal is very easy to work with and puts out quality work. I also have the air system of Sals and am very pleased with it. I think both are good products but i chose Sals because Lightnings is all he works with.

Question

Lightning,
Do you have the $1099.00 kit? It sounds like a great package.

HiPo,

Sal's $1099 kit is a Mass Air Conversion for Generation 1 (1993-95) Lightning's. The current ('99 & '00) models do not need this kit.

What you will need on your new '00 L is Sal's Power Surge Cone Filter w/Outerwears Pre-Filter and also his PSP Dual Chip. Total cost for this setup is a little under $500 and it will add at least 30 RWHP to your beast (for a total of over 400 hp at the flywheel). That's just $16.60 per added rear wheel horsepower -- hard to beat!

Question Which Chip?

How do the PSP and the Super Chip compare for performance and price?
