No more Lightning?

Lately I've been interested in buying a Lightning. I found this site and came into the forum and was browsing through threads.

I read this thread:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=172474

From what I can understand is that the Lightning program was canceled. Although, I admit, I didn't read all the pages, just the first couple. But then I went to the SVT website and saw a F150 Lightning Concept.

http://www.svt.ford.com/conceptLabLightning.asp

It seems to hint at another Lightning coming.

So what's the deal ... is the Lightning no more, or are they just taking a break and will release the Lightning in like 2006??

Yeah, apparently ford has better things to do then spend some money to develop a new lightning for some of their most loyal customers. You'd think they'd have the 80/20 rule in marketing down?

I've been on the road alot lately, but I havnt heard a thing about the adrenaline in a while either, I just want to test drive one if its ever made, not buy one.

Just like the 70's when ford decided to make that ugly slow mustang. With the price of gas now,I wouldnt be surprised if they start putting 4 cylinders in f150's.....

with these gas prices the new SVT vehicles are going to be hybrids or pedal powered.
