Wide band question.

The DJ WBC is now installed and running well. Next step is to control the nitrous with it.

I have a quwstion for you wide band users, after the standard stop light grandprix when I get off the throtle the wide band shows verry lean until the RPM drops to normal. At WOT it runs 11 to 12, at idle and part throtle 14.7 with a little hunting at idle. The lean condition is only after backing off quickley from WOT.

Is this normal?

what nitrous kit are you running? Id like to wire my NX kit in to use my dynojet as a window switch so maybee it wont just roast the tires on the shifts.

I have a nitrous express set up. I will trigger on TPS, RPM so no throttle switch. I also plan on only alowing a triger if the AF is ok.

I guess I wont worry about the lean deceleration.

It's not really lean. Under those conditions the injectors are shut off - no fuel is entering the engine at all. Just one big air pump..... Joel

Latemodel,

Did you try turning off the A/F parameter on the WBC?

yes i had it spraying at 3,000 rpms at WOT. But the reason that didnt help is i run my truck around the streets on slicks so i was nailing it to the floor from a stop and there is the delay in the nitrous and i had a race that night so i just unhooked it from the WBC and did it the regular way

yes, as they discribed, no lower fuel requirements plus the lesser load on the engine, basically its the engine is coasting at that point.
