Did you ever receive the plastic models of the new Lightning? Christmas will be here before we know it and my nephew sure would like one. Please let me know if you receive any Thanks Dennis

Bill,

Also wonder if there are any die cast versions available?

Mike

P.S. My wife has hinted that she plans to order one of the R/C kits from you for my Christmas present. So, leaving a printout of the specs (with your phone number highlighted) on our nightstand has had the desired result.

Got my Tower Hobbies R/C lightning in this weekend. Since my real lightning is in the shop, I was going through some serious withdrawal. I spent most of Saturday working on it, then spent Sunday crashing it into things. That is one FAST car. Nothing like the toys I had growing up. I highly recommend one.

Sixpipes,

Great picture! Thanks for posting it. I was wondering what these things looked like.

PFA,

It does look pretty big and, I guess since it's a 1/10 scale model, it IS pretty big! The "real" '99 L is 208" long, 79.1" wide, and 70.9" high. So, I assume that would translate into a 1/10 model size of 20.8" long, 7.91" wide and 7.09" high.

Bill (or sixpipes),

Are these dimensions about right? (Great looking model, btw!)
