I was freaking also cuz at idle I would se any ware from 18 to 25 psig. However, the pressure would build as I gave it gas. At 3/4 peddle it would have 80 psig. The pressure gage acts like a tach almost goes up and down with the gas peddle. I can see if I can get a pic of the Y block. I went to true value auto parts and told them what I wanted and they ordered it in. Had it the next day. I also bought 3 hose barbs that were 1/2" NPt to 3/8" hose fitting. Then 3/8" gas hose.

Thanks Pete, I did what you said and used the Y that you recomended. Did you get a look at my in tank hoses? Man they were dry rotted and cracked very easy. Last year when my head failed I chalked it up to a tune issue. I guess this was the main issue. When the head went I had the original dyno tune Jim gave me using my old modes.

Peace,

Suavy

Make sure you use the recomended hose (high pressure fuel hose), aeroquip hose etc ,Suavy. You could drill out the assemble, on top, to 1/2 inch and run the bulkhead fitting with washers on both sides, then use the original feed line as your return and cut the return nipple out and cap it like I did. You may have to shorten the lines, unlike I did in the pic. If this doesnt give you adaquate fuel, nothing will.

Oh yeah, last but not least. You may have to cut out some of your frame above the tank so the hose end fitting will fit. Its around a 4 inch long and 3 inch deep C notch.

Just a small word to the wise promod.

The worm gear clamps *will* in time relax. The "constant tension" clamps that came with it may actually be better. If your uncomfortable with them then double them up or get some OEM types.

This is the whole reason why you see this typ of clamp under hoods these days. I know they are a pain.. but they apply "constant tension" the whole time they are on.

Thanks, this was a mock-up setup done in 03. I have since changed to the double ears factory style clamps.

Rich, I used the screw type clamps take a look at my hose where it split looks like the clamps stayed tight but the hose cracked?

I admit I used screw clamps again just new ones!

Monday 8:30am is the big day I'll post the numbers and let the chips fall where they may by about 5:30 pm Monday! Pray for me everyone!

God Bless,

Suavy
