Does any one know if the lightning throttle body is the same as the cobra?I was looking at a BBK unit for the L's,only see one for the cobra's. it's a twin 62mm.Sound's like it would be nice along with PSP air kit.

I looked into that a while back. It's not the same, the linkage is reversed. I was considering have some custom made, but upon further investigation, prior testing of larger TBs on Kenne Bell Blown Cobras (about the closest thing to our trucks), only showed a few hp increase. So I figure it's not really worth what it would cost to produce.

Sal is right,the cost outways the increase in hp that you will get. I have a bbk on my truck. I had to buy a bbk t/b and a stock t/b and spend about 3 hours on the mill to swap the linkages. I'll let you know this weekend if there is any gains at the track. The cost to do this was around $500.
