yoda,
i just did mine last night. there is a torx screw down in the corners, above each corner light. remove it with a t-20 tip. then just pull the old light out (may need a little force here). reverse procedure for install. takes about 15 minutes to complete.

Yoda: Nice choice!! Install is a no-brainer as posted by DavidS. I set the gap between the headlamps and corner lenses using gage pins and then snugged up the Torx fasteners. I've checked them twice since and neither has loosened up. Good luck - Chuck

P.S. There are very detailed instructions posted by Steve Lemere. Go to the F150online home page, click on Product Reviews, click on Front Corner Lenses, and you can review/print the instructions. One fastener only per side.

Yoda: I happened to use gauge pins because I have access to them in the QA lab at work. I noticed that there was a difference in the gaps after I pushed the new lenses into the pin holders and tightened down the Torx. So, I went back to work and used gauge pins (precision ground, hardened steel cylindrical pins used for inspection purposes) to make sure the gaps were equal. You can probably use something from your toolbox to accomplish the same thing. Good luck!!

Sorry topcat i guess im a little dense, still not understanding what you did to fix the space. What type of "pins" do i use & then what exacly do I do with them? Im not sure what you did with them that fixes the space. It might be hard for you to explain what you did but give it a shot.

JRS -

The JBAs and the corner lenses can be bought through the store on F-150's homepage. The F-1 hood I got from Autobahn in Fort Myers, Fl. The headers provide noticable power gains from mid-range up. The exhaust note is more pronounced, but not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation with someone at highway speeds.

Something I didn't realize until today was that the Lightning has an aluminum hood. The fiberglass F-1 hood that we put on today is actually a little heavier than the stock one. I guess the SVT boys were trying to save all the weight they could.

I have pictures of the JBAs in the back of my truck before the install if you would like to see what they look like. The workmanship is outstanding.
