Very impressive. Not to take that 10.3 lightly, but shouldn't 1000/1000 take you deep into the 9's? Or haven't you run those boost levels at the track?
Either way, very impressive numbers in a clean truck

I've been following Mr Parish during his postings and such.

That's simply awsome! It's so sureal to see a bone stock *looking* late model 4x4 just leave bikes and cars like they were standing still.

That's just plain cool Parish, just plain cool.

btw: Thanks for posting the vid.

Rich

It should take him into the 9's. But, as I'd imagine with any truck like ours, he probably has some traction issues. Plus, he has a lot tuning to do. He just doesn't blast out of the hole with 21 PSI on the turbo. The rear end would rip off or something would give. I'd like to see Shock's Truck when it is done. I think he will be capable of running 9's without the juice. Some others will be able to when they convert over, too.

See 2 wheel drive vs. 4 wheel drive

No matter what anyone says, Parish's truck is a REAL truck, running high HP. Hell from what I hear he drives the thing to work whenever he can. I'm glad to see someone running a truck in streetable form and putting up some numbers, whether it's a chevy or a ford.

I think the only person who is even in the same league is MAYBE scott with Sals old truck, and Dale.

As mentioned, it is impressive to see a stock looking truck with full weight make those numbers. Now we just have to see what potential is left before a lot of parts need upgrading.

There is a turbo Dodge Viper running 8's, totally streetable, a/c the works but it cost $130k to do it also not including the cost of the car. How much is invested in this truck?

Are you talking about the yellow TT viper? If so I will ask Jason Heffner how much the guy has wrapped up in it next time I see him, but I'd bet it's better than 130k. I've seen the car in person a few times and up on a lift, there's ALOT of work in that car.

As far as Parish's truck, what parts? Hell the truck in STOCK LOOKING form is running 10.2. It's not a backhalfed, tubbed race truck and it WILL go nines here shortly I'm sure. As far as I'm concerned he's got all the lightnings beat until I see someone like Scott or Dale throw a 9 on the board. Granted Dale has already gone a low 10 like Parish, but not on DR's.

BTW, isn't Parish making that power through a 4WD?

I've seen video and read articles that state he launches in 4wd then shifts to 2wd a little way down the track. Beit not for 4wd launches, the tires would go up in smoke.

There's a local guy building a truck to compete with Parish.

I have been driving Red daily except for rainy days. Im just getting use to the truck. Plan on running her with out any nitrous next week just to see what she feels like on the top with slicks and skinnies.
