Chevy Concept Truck ?
Exerpt from an interesting E-mail I received recently. Anyone know anything about this supposed Chevy concept truck?
While working with the GM Truck engineers in Peru, In. a couple
of weeks ago, they brought a Lightning pick up in to test against their
concept truck similiar to the Lightning. In terms of handling, the
Lightning whooped their truck, with several of us driving it and coming up
with the same results. Your truck is a great handling vehicle...
Anybody know how the Lightning is classified in SCCA autocross?

Maybe I'm just blind but that truck doesn't look like anything special. Nothing too distinctive, like the lightnings lower skirt lights etc.
Leave it to GM. They'v been lamb-basted for years about doing nothing with a distinctive style when it comes to trucks, and now they put out a lightning challenger which looks like it should be used as a tow truck.
Ford F150 is the number one selling truck because it is an awesome truck, but it also helps when 1/3 of the competition uses popsicle sticks to dream up "concept" trucks.
