Thumbs up Scottodog

Hey Scott,

Thanks for the info on mufflex. I spoke with Denny today and I am going up to Trenton on Monday at 1 pm to get the system installed. I live in Bel Air, Md it is only about a 200 mile round trip. The system he has put together sounds great for $440.00. I am going to keep the stock exit pipes. I was on the Bassani web page today and they are advertising there system for over $1700. I can explain $400 to my wife but not $1700. She would kick my a** for that. I have flowmasters on my 96 mystic cobra and they sound great. Anyway thanks again for all of your information and for letting your truck be the test mule for this system. ROB

If you want to check out my tips and exhaust sound I could meet you there and show you. I showed another lightning owner Friday and he got the two chamber instead of the 3. He also got the s/s tips we both think they are a lot better than stock. Scott

Exclamation

Hey Scott

I'll be there at 1 if you want to come up. I would like to see the tips. I have 2 chambers on my cobra and sometimes they can be alittle annoying on the highway. Hope to see you there. Thanks!!

Hey Scott,

Thanks for meeting me up at Mufflex. The 2 chambers sound ALOT throatier. I told Denny that you might want to switch to the 2 chambers and he said that would be no problem. The whole trip home they didn't rattle, shake or make that banging noise.

By the way that part # for that badge is XL3Z*16720*AA it was $16.00.

Thanks again and I hope everything works out!!! Best of Luck, ROB

Cool

Rob, I might go back and get the two chambers that would probably take care of the thump. Let me know how they run on the track. Thanks for the part #. Scott
