You need one for a 97-98 Corvette LS1; the later cars did not have return fuel back to the tank and the regulator won't work. I've heard of these selling on Ebay for less, but I just grabbed the first one I found in stock.

Erratic Fuel pressure
My base is 33 psi. Without the regulator it wandered between 22-28 psi constantly. I never tried another resistor; I remember Sal mentioning that but only when using aftermarket rails. That would bump the fuel pressure, but my pressure wouldn't even stay low and steady, it was all over the place. Like the computer couldn't keep the voltage at 7 volts or whatever it is supposed to be.

Has 2.3 KB, Boost a pump,NGK TR6 plugs, stage ll cams,15 psi boost,Trick Flow heads,60 pd injectors SB TB,JLP air box it started this right after KB install.Replaced injectors, fuel damper,o2s,pumps,bypassed ballast resistor, checked voltage at pumps which was steady 8 volts, checked IAT which seemed to be working correctly by my digital meter, removed supercharger belt ,no change, performed leak down on all cylinders and it was good, vacuum is between 12 and 13 but idle fluctuates and vacuum isn't erratic, shot propane all around engine with no change on the wide band or idle.Shot propane in the small 1/8 (red) vacuum port on top of supercharger and motor stumbled badly so o2's are doing their job and there doesn't seem to be any vacuum leaks.System holds pressure for at least a half an hour or more after (38psi) engine is off.New fuel filer too.And at idle the pressure stay at about 36 psi steady with just a slight tick but under a load its 20 40 psi back and forth!Going to try the 97 Corvette adjustable reguator.
