Question What is a good price for a 99??

Help,

A dealer in my area has a few 1999 Lightnings leftover. Each one is equipped with all the options (MSRP $30,600). If I play my cards right, how much should I be able to get off MSRP?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Leftover Lightnings ???????????????????????

There must be a story there. I'd start @ $26k and see if he starts laughing. You should be able to get out the door for around $28k

Where might these "leftover" Lightnings be?

NJ.

When I went in I thought they had one of each (red, black, & white), but I was shocked when they took me to the prep room where they are stored.

They have 4 white, 3 red, and 3 black! I couldn't believe my eyes.

There's got to be a story there. Down here in Florida dealers were taking bids on their last few. One dealer even shipped 2 off to Germany @ $5000 over MSRP. Most dealers only got 6 or 7 and these are HUGE volume dealers.

If you get a chance see if the window stickers show your dealer as the ship to dealer. They might have shopped these from other dealers and placed a heavy premium on them thinking they could make a ton of money off us poor consumers. It might have backfired on them so you may get very lucky.
