Warranty on sliding window?

Hey,

Has anyone ever broken the latch-thing for sliding back window? If so, how/where did you get a replacement, and was it covered by the warranty?

I would say that if you are still under warranty they will/should fix it. They fix cracked foglamps. Remember its "bumper to bumper"

I've got bad news for you. Mine started rattling, and was replaced under warranty. HOWEVER, they don't sell just the middle window, and replaced the whole back window. I'm assuming you will have to do the same.

Well, the window seems fine... it's just that the latch thing, and spring are broken... I hope they don't have to replace the whole back window... that would be wacky.

Mine broke and when I took it in they were contemplating about gluing it together but then they decided to replace the entire window they said it would break again if they glued it

Replacement latch part number #F65Z-1527158-AA
Cost about $7. It's next to impossible to get the broken one off the glass though.

If you're still under 36K warrantee, they should fix it. They replaced mine a couple times...
