I think SVt could be more involved they do seem to pass the buck along. It is great that everyone in interested in one vehicle, but svt only has 3 whats the deal? I always wonder how much training or information they have available?

Angry Hello Ford? Hello SVT?

When I recently encountered a no A/C problem (apparently related to the wiring bundle on the 10mm. bolt) I had an opportunity to call for help. The scenario follows:
Hello Ford (888 number)... you need to call SVT!
Hello SVT (800 number) ... you need to call Ford!
Hello Ford, a number for the Ford dealer in Kingman? "Well we don't normally provide this, grumble,grumble,... here it is."
Hello Ford dealer...xfer to service, answering machine.
15 minutes later, Hello Ford dealer, xfer to service ... no answer.
(Finally at the dealer) Could you check and see if something simple is causing my A/C not to click in? Sorry, can't help you until tomorrow (we were 200 miles from home, 600 miles from destination)
Solution: Re-torque 10mm. connector ... A/C worked perfectly (never believe in coincidence) Clearly, I caused the problem putting the SuperChip in, but Ford's response was less than helpful.

I'm beginning to believe that this group knowns more about troubleshooting the new lightning than ford or the dealers. maybe the guys/gals on the svt line that built them know, pity we can't talk to them
