I have used a wrech before. Just put it on and then slowly turn the motor while holding it untill it has pressure on it.

I am so glad I did mine when the truck was only a few weeks old,
it was still a bitch, but not like some of these horror stories.
Hope you got it off by now Bro

first of all thank you for everyones input. I did finally get the bracket off and I straightened it out in my viceand then I put it back on the torque converter, the other way, and the stock pulley came off the first try!! At that point i had run out of daylight so i called it quits for the night. I am now in the middle of putting everythign back together. the new JDM 6lber is on but those two tranny lines are rubbing right against the pulley and I already put the bracket back on. They just keep slipping out and hitting the pulley. is there anything else I can do to hold them back?? thanks again.....

take them out of the bracket and put them under neath it. You may have to tweek the bracket. Then wire tie them in place.

Thank you to everyone for your help over the past 2 days. a project that should have taken a couple hours max, turned into a multi-day ordeal. Although my luck did not change much after I finished. As soon as I was done I went for my litte joy ride around the block. My boost gauge was pinned!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!! But then I came around the corner and thewas the police sitting right there. My radar detector went off like crazy so I jammed on the brakes and almost started fish tailing but he still got me for 39 in a 25. Although not all bad luck because I did talk him out of the ticket and got by with a warning!! So anway everything turned out ok and the 6lber is AWESOME!!!! Thanks again for everyones help!!
