Well,I thought my problem was solved with my trans,(as you may recall I lost 2nd gear last month)when my funds are a little better(actually alot better) I want to get a monster box thru Gregg, but in the mean time the truck is just sitting.I had to move it out of the garage yesterday so I figured I would just run it around the block for the hell of it.Well now I have 2nd gear again but only sometimes,the truck will either give me a nice shift and pull hard in 2nd without slippage, or I have to let up and it goes into 3rd.I can also drop it into 2nd from about 55 mph or so and it will slow the truck and the tach jumps up. Now when it will shift it does do so with a clunk and no matter what gear it is in it makes the same sound as a low on fluid power steering pump. I am curious if this sounds like anything other than an overhaul, because I could swing a little money into a temporary fix if at all possible. but if its junk than I will wait to buy Greggs trans.Either way my next mod will be the new trans because I just dont trust this one anymore.Please let me know what you all think.
