question about tuning (6lb vs 4lb)

I bought a 6lb pulley setup a while ago off of ebay that came with a chip for it, but the chip was for a cxn1 computer not a nlp2 like I need. So.... fast forward about 6 months and I run across a chip on ebay that is for my nlp2 computer, but it is programmed for three settings (stock, performance with stock boost, and performance with 4 lb pulley). My question is... can I use this chip with a 6 lb pulley, or should I trade my pulley for a 4 lb'er. Or get the chip reprogrammed for the 6 lb'er and know that everything is right with it. I emailed the guy for specifics on the tune and I am awaiting any info he can give me.

ohh...
I'd send whatever chip you have with a list of your mods to a tuner and have them make you one.

I'm very leary of using other tunes, or off the shelf tunes.

JLP and PSP tune with Diablo software and chips. PSP also tunes with SCT products as well. I would like to know what Sal thinks is the better choice.
