Mobil 1 Synthetic oil

I cannot find any Mobil 1 synthetic 5w20 in town. I did find 5w30. will that be ok to use instead or should I go with the 5w20 since summer is almost over, and it will be getting colder soon? Thanks!

I have always used mobil 1 5/30 and am a FIRM believer in it.

This is my bearings both rod and main after 30k VERY hard miles with at least 50 1/4 mile runs, 20 dyno pulls, multiple kickdown and wot runs etc:

there's a search feature in this forum where this has been discussed a bazillion times. 5w20, 5w30, whatever makes you comfortable. won't make a difference. i believe you'll find most folks use 5w30 mobil 1. i do. don't think they've had the 5w20 out too long and see a lot of guys switching to it from their motorcraft or whatever.

I buy Mobil 5w-20 @ Autozone. My local Wal-Mart Supercenter doesn't seem to carry it.

118K miles on my 99 and motor is still in good shape..In 94 when I bought my 89 5.0 i've ran mobil 1 and chevron premium gas.. Every time I have motor work they are amazed at my rods pistons etc.. I use 5W 30 super syn but with mobil1 in general you can't go wrong..

Any synthetic, including viscosities that go up to 50W will work fine, even in cooler weather, because synthetics (even 20W-50) remain pumpable in cold weather.
