so is stock 8 or 10psi?

i simply cut holes in the bottom of my air box and threw a K&N in there and i got my stock gauge to go just a hair into the black. now with my 4lb lower it goes a good 1/2-5/8" into the black. but ive heard the stock gauge can be a little iffy. so im wondering with the 4lb am i huffin' 12 or 14psi?

P.S. the gauge stays there and doesnt drop when i shift. does this mean my boost by-pass is dissabled? Can a RWTD custom e-mail tune do that?

4lb pulley=12 psi but when its really hot out figure around 11psi.The boost should jump to around 9 then slowly climb at WOT.

mine hits 10 like RIGHT NOW. around 3000 rpm. it climbs quick 1/8" into the black, then slowly climbs another 3/8 and holds

Completely stock, on a cool day I would see 10 psi boost on my Autometer gauge. Added ported blower and K&N drop-in, boost rose to 12 psi. Added 4 lb lower, boost rose to 15 psi. Added JLP air box and Dynatech headers/cats, and still see 15 psi.
