Tire Pressure
Does anyone recomend what tire pressure to have with the stock tires, The tires say 44lbs max, but mine are around 35 or so. Getting ready to drive from boston to florida, what should I run.

whatever it says on the tires, totally disregard that! you always should run the psi stated on the doors. When "whoever" makes a tire, they can't know what truck it will go on, they simply put in the MAX psi, your manufacturer knows the weight of your vehicle, and they put that on the door. If your going on a long road trip, you might go to a tire store and have them make sure your still balanced, and with proper tire pressure as per the door sticker.

These tires pressures work well:
Street: fr35 rear 32(35 if you carry loads)
Dragstrip: fr38 rr 22
Autocross: fr41 rr 39
keep in mind that these are the pressures cold. When you run hard, the tires will heat up and pressure increases. For a long trip 35 sounds about right. Below 30 and your gas mileage will suffer. Above 38 and you might have more tire noise/harsher ride.

since i sell it it's easy for me to say:
if you have access to nitrogen, fill your tires with it, it is inert, does not expand and contract with heat/cold, pressures remain constant and you will get good life out of those $300 tires (the fronts maybe) i guess everyone's rears are toast.

Whoever makes the tire, normally does knows what vehicles it will goes on, and the tire is design for the intended weight and use of the vehicles it will be used on, The vehicle manufacture will give you the best tire pressure for NVH and Durability, for the vehicle the tire will be used on.
---Use the numbers from the Owners manual or from the door.---

If your coming to Florida this weekend, you may want to over-inflate your tires. You may need them for floatation devices. We are expecting between 10 and 20 inches of rain from hurricane Irene here in Ft. Myers.
