Question E85 Gas = 105 Octane

No gas expert but I see 105 Octane for $1.95-2.10 gallon & my eyes .

Not sure if our L's could ever burn this stuff, but I like the price especially with these stations appearing all over IL.

Anyone or tuners have an opionion on E85????

octane and no power! my co. car is a dual fuel and we were supposed to use E85. besides the fact it was hard to find my 6cyl. taurus was a real dog on it and the mileage was cut by probably 1/3. It might work fine in green type vehicles but from what I saw there was absolutely no savings. Do not put that stuff in a lightning !

you cannot use E85 in a car/truck not erquipped for it. it's very corrosive and flex fuel vehichles need to have stainless steel fuel lines etc....
