Wow, I'm glad someone started this thread. It makes me happy knowing I have spent a lot less on mine than some people...even those with stock blocks.

That aint no kidding. I'm so glad that I have the tools and resources to do almost all of the labor myself.

I bought an Alpine Fresh car freshener for $2.98 ... That's all the
mods I have other than the $9,000 or so in suspension, brakes,
bling, and such. And about 6,000 in tires so far....

And it's still just a Farm Truck ...

about $16,000 at the listed prices, I did pick up a few things used though. That doesn't include repairs, tires, or any labor which I do mostly all myself. Still running the stock block, heads, and supercharger.

Actually, my wife and I sat down, I have roughly about 9k into it. This doesn't include the Rods, Cams, Valves, KB S/C, Rings, Pistons, Rear End, Shift Kit, Traction Bars and ported heads that are going to be done this winter when I put my L up for the winter. (End of September and when it comes out in April, ill have roughly a little over 20k invested).

IMO, its worth every dime... Shes my baby (MY L) and the kicker is, the wifey doesn't mind. I mean it cost me a bigger diamond for her, but man, thats nothing compared to what I have spent!
