I am interested in purchasing a 99 lightning on the a plan. One dealership wan not even willing to sell it a plan, the others price was 28,000, or 1000 over a plan he told me. Can anyone tell me how to save sum money and find on at A plan price, no gouging? Hopefully within a couple hundred miles of Detroit MI. Or if anyone knows the availability of 99's color unimportant. Thanks.

 

If you are an employee for Ford you know they are not obligated to sell it to you at "A" plan. First you have to find a dealer that has one, then remind them that "A" plan buyers are always gonna buy Ford. Then remind them that word travels fast at the plant when a dealer descriminates against a Ford employee. I found 3 dealers here and they run a little over 26k out the door. If you're not an employee disregard this posting.

Call Gorno Ford, in Woodhaven, about 20 miles south of Detroit. Talk to Steve Engle, really great salesman, and I do believe they have a red 99 left. I got mine straight a-plan (no added fees etc.), plus they gave me rebates. http://www.gornoford.com

Varsity Ford in AnnArbor has a red and a black one. I was told before I bought mine that they would do A-Plan on them, then someone I work with bought one there and they wouldn't do A-Plan. It might go by the salesman you work your deal with. I would definitely shop around, as there are PLENTY of Ford dealers in the area.
