Shivalry is NOT dead on F-150 online
I gotta give a HUGE thanks to ChieifAl(Al) and SouthJerseyUSA (Fred) for there help today.
First off it was 'Melt your skin HOT!!!' and it was a long day at the track .From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fast Fredy had problems saturday and was not even racing today (he came back sunday because it was close to home and when you race you automatically buy a 2 day pass) and Al went out in the first round.
They both could have been out of the track by 2:30 and been home 3 p.m. with there families eating dinner in a air-coditioned house.
Instead they hung around 3 1/2 hours in the heat to support me as I was lucky enough to go rounds and make the finals.
Lets get this straight. I WOULD NOT HAVE GONE ROUNDS AND MADE THE FINALS W/O THEM.
There support and help (Generators , fans , etc..) was a big help in me keeping my truck were it needed to be (cooled down) for the next rounds.
It was a long day and we were parked far, far away and if they left it would have been a long boring afternoon.
I hope to return the favor some day.

Going back and doing another day of that INSANE heat deserved a win
(or at least a shot at it hehehehehe ) ok ok I'm JK...... : o )
Nothing wrong with 2nd Baby (ya right) .....
My Hats off to Fred also,
if not for him, I would have never made it though tech, for some reason the a$$holes I drove there with LET ME HANGING HIGH AND DRY, LOST EVEN. If it wasnt for Fred, I'd prob still be wondering the pits looking for those flat leavers, actually I'd be dead by now from that dam heat @$%(@$^%@($
And Hats off to the JLP crew for lending me something I needed to even get though it, (Fred again), and even Fred again if not for I'd still be dragging my hose, hehehehe.
And of course THANKS to YOU V-Man and Teri, for once again opening your home to me and the memories of a great day out with the best people in the world.....
GIVE ME A HUG!! : o )

Lets just say we can walk faster in that heat
Usually running 9's ?, in the heat of the event maybe a high 10
Got a 10 sec truck, NOT YESTERDAY, maybe 11, most likely 12's
Always run hig 11's, not no more, you were in the 13's or high 12's
12 sec trucks ? well you get the picture
Anyone there will tell you depending on when you ran, you were down an EASY 1/2 sec, some were off a full second, some even MORE
Up to yesterday I had one racing rule, "no summer racing"
IT IS ONCE AGAIN OFFICIAL
(I REFUSE to run what I ran weeks after I bought my truck in 02, hehehehe)
I ran 12.8 and 12.9 with 1.7 60fts both times. NO NITROUS
But by the second pass I WAS NOT 8 cylinders anymore @#^$%Y(@#$(@#
(I would just like to point out my 1st run was actually faster than Vinnie's MPH on his 1st run)

Blah, Blah, Blah..
I ran 11.5s all day today at full weight, running hot and deep staging. Deweighting , reg. stage and cool down VERY low 11s easy.
If you went to the track more then twice a year you would know there is ways of going fast or slow when need be.
Every pass does not have to be a national event. Most fast guys are fast because they make passes all summer, make sure there shift points are right, truck is running right, suspension is dialed in THEN they turn it up in the fall and MAGICALLY run good #s.
Of course I have told you this a hundred times , but you will be the guy complaining in Oct. that something that SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF NOW is holding you back.
Now fix your problems and get back to jersey so we can make more passes.
VINNIE

Awesome to hear!
