Unhappy week to forget

well fellow lightning owners, i had tried to avoid all sorts of situations where someone could possibly mess up my baby, but two things this past week made my life miserable...
1. floyd....need i say more..the cause of a major paint scratch on the rear bumper...
2. stupid parkers.....neighbor who lives in same apartment building parked his 91 ford ranger on incline away from my truck..he either forgot to put it in gear (stick shift)
or he forgot to put on emergency brake...his truck rolled down hill and hit the passenger side of the truck behind the door...pushed in
a little of the door but messed up the door jam area something fierce...the cutout for the exhaust is now pushed up against the pipes and the edges of the rear wheel well is
cracked...now must get rental and have to do without my baby....i feel major league violated and i am not a happy camper....

Unhappy

Sorry about your rocket ride...hope they get it right. Floyd kinda got mine, too. Tried to get to the track to time this monster and after trying different routes to get there I ended up drivin' around for 5 hrs. and got nowhere...all I managed to do was crack both foglight lenses. I think I did it crossing some flooded section and got deep enough for the water to reach the hot lenses. Those bad boys are $98 apiece with tax (already got one the first week I had it with a rock...er...ah...stone I should say. No "rock" could come close to that machine. I think I'll look around for some aftermarket lens covers, looks like they come off. Good luck gettin' yours fixed!

Hey Blackbolt!

My condolences on your boo-boo, I hope you can get her fixed to your satisfaction.

4D THNDR,

I have a set of clear lexan covers for my fog lights and they have worked really well. They were about $30.00 and fit and look great. Let me know if you are interested and I can hook you up with my source.

Wyldman: I am interested but I've got to find some replacement lenses first. Should be able to look around later this week.

Through further investigation I find that I basically need the whole fog lamp assembly. Gonna have to check with the aftermarket world and see what I can find. Wyldman: My e-mail is: mcklein@erols.com
