Question Mike T

Mike I have a minor problem with my superchip. it seems that i have a bad spark knock. it started the first day that i installed it but it was very minor it occurred about 5300 rpms.i related this to bad gas i put nothing but 93 octane in it. next tank it did the same so i poured a bottle of stp octane booster in it same thing no better. then another tank at enmark (i have always gotten good gas at enmark). and also another bottle of stp octane booster. this time it is worse than ever it begins spark knocking at 4400rpms and gets worse especially in 3rd gear. i love the chip but i need to know what to do about this, wont this burn the cylinders or something like that. and one more thing i know the chip should not alter the stock program in anyway in pos.1 but it never spark knocked at all when it was stock and the day i put it in it spark knocked in pos.1 as well as 2. just not nearly as bad. in #1 it did right at shift point 5200 rpms. that is all. i love the chip and what it does but i need help with this thanks. oh can i retard the timing myself or is this all computer controlled thanks
