Thumbs up High flow air inlet

Just installed the new inlet tube and powerstack filter from Power surge and it fits like factory and looks great. Can't really tell if I'm making more HP. Feels like it though. The dyno or track will have to tell me of the improvements. The end of the filter goes right up to the stock hole thats in the fender. With the powerstacks open end element some of the air is coming from outside the engine compartment. It bolts down to the factory rubber isolators and looks BADASS. Another nice thing(at least for me) is that under boost the blower whine is at least twice as loud. Real cool sounding. Thanks Sal...this is a nice quality built piece. Jeff

Hey Jeff, Sal here. Thanks for the kind words! I always put alot of work into my parts, and believe that quality always comes first. And I also like to design parts that require as little modification to the vehicle as possible. I also agree that the truck sounds awesome with the added whine under WOT. Anyway, I'm glad you like the parts, and thanks agian!!

Sal,

What type of filter element do you use with your intake setup?

I'll answer since I have one. Its a conical filter about a foot long with filtering pleats in the very end that goes right up to the stock hole in the fender. Jeff

Hey Lightningtuner,is this a cool box design? What I am reading into this from the other postings, it sounds like your still running it to fresh, outside air in front wheel well??

What's the chances of making them for the 5.4L (regular 260 HP) ?
I've always believed in fresh cool air intake for better performance.
