When removing the PSP nitrous plate....?

When I remove the PSP nitrous plate do I need to order a new gasket to replace the ones that were there, or can I get away with using the old one?

If not what is the part number for that gasket, and do most dealerships stock them?

Thanks,
Patrick

You can reuse the old ones if they are not cracking or damaged in any way. I would suggest using a slight film of sensor friendly sealent on both sides of the gasket.

Peace,

Suavy

Thanks Suavy, any particular product you can recommend, I don't usually get too involved with the engine.

Just get your self some seal er from the auto parts just make sure you ask for sensor fiendly. Our trucks have so many dang sensors on them and DO NOT USE REGULAR SILICONE!!!!!!!!

Peace,

Suavy

You should be fine with using one of the stock gaskets. I used gasket maker when i added my plate beacuse it didnt get the extra gasket

I've had my Throttle Body and or Nitrous Plate's, and the gasket's off and on prob a good 50 times over the years. Reused them everytime, never put nothing on it, never a problem......

Like Rob said, you can remove it and reuse it, as long as it's not damaged. I have reused them on my own truck many times.
