Can I get the mid-plate I need from a Ford dealer?

I have the leaky 9 row I/C and can get a 10 row for a good price. I'd still need the mid plate or adapter plate to make it all work though.

I spoke to a Ford guy who had no idea what I was asking for...

I called Ford a while back and asked what parts and part numbers were included in the kit. The part I'm looking for wasnt listed at all in the computer.

I doubt you'll be able to get that mid plate. You can't even buy the whole kit anymore. Honestly, you'd be better off trying to find a whole 01-up intake and blower setup.

I got the mid plate from my 99 (recall kit) in storage. Email me and we can talk.

if i remember correctly the whole kit included the lower intake as well. the core with the correct midplate is still available.

The problem is that he needs the recall plate. The recall plate was a special part that had the 01-up I/C core bolt pattern, but with the 99-00 blower/intake pattern. You can't use a production midplate.
