1/10 Scale Lightnings Another Update
This is embarrasing, folk and I am really sorry. I am sort of feeling like Mike Troyer and his logistics problems with Lightning Superchips.
The long and short of it is that Tamiya, the manufacturer/importer of the kits, got screwed up between my order and a Corporate order that had been placed by HobbyTown USA headquarters.
My contact thought everything was cool, the marketing dept. was just doing their thing and not talking to my lady.
In any case the whole lot, my order and the corporate order was shipped to Lincoln, NE today. Once it arrives, they have to separate my order from theirs and trans-ship my stuff to GA. They promise to do this same day.
Unfortunately, we run into the Labor Day holiday and UPS likes a lot of time off. So, I am projecting an arrival date of Sept. 6 or 7 at my store. All orders will be filled the day I get the material. Note that no-one has been billed, nor will they be until the merchandise is shipped.
For those of you new to the topic, I have posted prices etc. under 1/10 Lightnings Here's the Deal. Don't want to waste thread space here. One maybe good thing is that I am preparing a listing of other truck body kits as well as Mustangs etc. that can fit on the same chassis. Dodges, Chevs and all sorts of other Fords.
