Cool Had a great F-150 day!!!

Yesterday about 10:00 one of my employees came running back to my office and said "Boss, there's a SuperCab Lightning in the parking lot". Well, since there is a For assembly plant here, anything can happen.

Turns out to be a brandy new (Sat delivery) Roush F-150, black. The new owner was very flattered that I came out to talk with him and indicated he had really wanted a Lightning but had two kids etc. Chatted a bit and I invited him to come to back of the center and see my Lightning. He did. Compared interior (he won), exhaust note, (he won) and finally engine. Well, one out of three ain't bad. Thoroughly enjoyable time.

Just after lunch, a fellow f-150online member shows up at the office door. I had not met him, and won't name him to save him the embarrasment, but anyway starts the conversation by asking if I own a white Ford truck. I beam and say yes. He says "well, I just backed into one", or words to that effect. I am like heading for the door to check at very high port when he starts laughing and introduced himself. Talk about "Dead man Walking". Checked truck-OK.

Anyway, we go to the front parking lot to check out his ride, a V-6 Supercab silver and with lots of trick mods. Beautiful truck, and he even has a Superchipped decal which I still lack.

While there, another gentleman comes rushing up and wants to know if he can bring his wife to my store on Saturday to check out the Lightning wheels. Sure, says I, why?
Well he showed us his '99 Lariat SC. Black, and not yet modded but about to be seriously so. Had another long conversation, lots of fun.

Got home and wrote the "where are you from" topic because I really wanted that one to continue. Here we are at 22 hours and counting and so far it is going super.

Ain't life grand sometimes?

PS: Both the Roush and the Lariat guys promised to get on f150online and join.
