Fun Ford Days
Over this past weekend, went to Epping NH for
the Fun Ford Days..it was a 5 1/2 hour drive up through off and on again rain showers in NJ,NY,CT,MA and yes even into NH...this should have been an indicator that the weekend was going to be bad..
Get to the track and the first thing i see is a 93-95 lightning getting its driveshaft replaced...guy is not a happy camper..but he seemed to be real happy about seeing my black 99 lightning...get inside and find out that the only lightnings racing were the older models..the only place that the new ones could be seen was in the show car category...
one red one and one white one with dodge spaced blue stripes on it..running around i find out that the people with the older lightnings like the new lightning badges much more than the decal that they have...kinda liked the decal on my red truck...there were some people in the concessions selling them
didn't ask cause i really didn't want to know how much they were getting for them...
the next day turned out to be much better for
racing but there were still only six total lightnings for racing and all were the older ones...was thin on finances and didn't want to take a chance yet on racing myself...but overall all things considered it was a nice
getaway and the lightning people were pretty nice...thanks to them and hope to see them again soon...
