Well tonight I finally seen a Black Lightning for the first time other than in a picture. It was cruising south on Telegraph Road, I was next to it just gawking at it, and I grew more impatient knowing my will be here soon. I tried to get the drivers attention so I could tell him about the meet at Milan Dragway, but he would not look over. I was in my Cobra, he probably figured I wanted to race or something.

tricked out Cobra along with a decent
looking Chrysler product. WE got
stopped at a light at the same time,
but I did'nt look over. Was that you?

A guy who owns a business about a 1/2 mile from me has a 99' Black Lightning. Its there almost every day, so when I want to look at one, I just cruise by.

LightningKid, yes it was around Warren, and about 9:00-9:30. I guess if you have a "goatee" it must of been you. I was stopped at a light with it and some other car, which I didnt pay attention to because I was admiring the truck. I usually cruise down that way to look for some trouble, but last night I said to myself "I hope I see a Black Lightning tonight", and I did. I remember hearing the whine, when the driver had to goose it a little to merge over because the left lane ended. After I heard that, it just made me want my truck all the more. Well it is supposed to be in tomorrow, so we will see. If it doesnt come in by the Milan meet, I guess you guys will have to deal with the Cobra.

Not trying to be a smarta__, but I see one every time I walk out the door and look at my driveway. She's a beauty and I love her to death, I just hope she is not fast enough to hasten my demise. Gotta learn to control that lead foot...may lose some wieght on the right side at least!
