just wanted to know if anyone had tried to attach a K&N cone filter directly to the throttle body on the 93-95 lightnings? I'm running mine at pomona this weekend and wondered if there would be any problems with doing this. I'm going with the 12" cone filter and i'ts just for a few passes down the track. Anyone have any ideas on doing this?

Sorry Dave, I have not expierenced this, but I do have a question for you. Do you ever do any towing and if so what kind of experiences have you had with your Lightning? I am looking to buy an older model.

 

bill..towed a bayliner boat to lake Havasu once but that's about it..truck came with the tube bumpers and the full towing pacage.
towed great lots of power no probs at all.

 

nascar bill i have a red 94 with 42,500 miles on it. It is in excellent cond. let me know if you are interested.

When we talked on the phone the other day, I had no idea you had a first-generation Lightning too! Or at least, I don't remember us talking about it. That's funny, we have a number of other multi-Lightning owners like you who have come to us. Not a lot, mind you, but a few. Congratulations on having a *pair* of neat Lightnings!
