BaBolt, Is the K&N Filter you mention above a replacement for the factory air box one? If so let me know and I will see what I can do to offer it in the F150 Online Digital Marketplace Store.

I spoke with Chris Baxter at Milan Dragway today (www.milandragway.com). He said Saturday, September 18th would work well. There is a meet elsewhere that will involve a large number of people that normally run at Milan on Saturday. I asked about Sunday as a ‘rain day’ and he said it would be a lot busier.
The gates open at 1pm and the track opens at 2pm. We should enter through the ‘Pit Entrance’ along Snell Road on the south side. The cost is $20 and includes as many runs as you can get in before 8pm. If we can get 20 or more trucks involved, they will set up a special class for us and possibly give us our own approach lanes. To run/race you will need to pass tech inspection, sign a waiver and wear long pants. They will require that you wear an approved helmet if you run under 14 seconds. Helmet rental is available. They have a snack bar and a large grass parking area for picnics and grills. No glass containers or alcohol are allowed.
Pass the word and we should have a great turnout.
He also said the Ford Motorsports Enthusiasts club (www.teamfme.com) rents the track the third Thursday of each summer month. The next meet is Thursday night, August 19th, from 6:30 to 9:30. Cost is $30/members and $40/non-members. Membership is $12/year and you need to be affiliated with the Ford Motor Company (although they can waive that requirement for ‘Ford enthusiasts’). Check out their site! They even have a ‘Dyno Day’ coming up on September 25th at Paul’s Performance in Jackson. Cost is $80/members and $90/non-members for one session of three pulls on an in-ground DynoJet.

All you Lightning Lovers (me too): For anyone who hasn't monitored the Events & Happenings forum, it looks like Sept. 18th @ Milan Dragway is a definite GO! 'Cloaker', and others, have volunteered their talents to make this a memorable event. I ordered a Ford Motorsports banner for signatures, etc..
DHFerguson: I'm leaving for Milan in a few minutes to check out the jet cars. I'll follow-up on the conversation you had earlier this week. I'll see if they can give me an idea where we can establish a central area for those running. I'll post up the results tomorrow.
Later - Chuck

Tried to go to Milan Dragway tonite...got caught in a massive parking lot from 94 to Milan on 23. Took me 1 1/2 hours to go 5 miles
. Left the jampile at 8:30. Wish I could have made it...woulda liked to maybe meet a couple of the members. Maybe next year.

Sorry for not posting sooner - I went to Milan this past Saturday but couldn't get any quality time with a track person. I had wanted to talk to someone about our 9/18 get-together. I had hoped to find out if we could park in a specific area or if we'll have to settle for a free-for-all.
DHFerguson: Can you call and ask the person you talked to before if the above is feasible? I'm going to be in the lovely town of Perrysburg, OH for the next two days and don't know if I'll have the opportunity to contact anyone at Milan.
Thanks - Chuck
