Lightning Dynojet Numbers?
#1
#2
Hey Dennis, Sal here. I was at the dyno all day Monday working on the new 99 chip. Baseline numbers were 313 hp and 381 ft-lbs at the rear wheels. I got the truck up to 329hp and 405 ft-lbs and then my air/fuel meter crapped out, so I had to stop. I was able to really wake up the high rpm power band, which is where the power really drops off on the 99. Once my meter comes back from being fixed, I expect to get another 10-15 hp and ft-lbs out of the truck.

Already did this earlier, but here's again.
Stock HP 304.7
Stock TQ 410.0
Chip HP 328.9
Chip TQ 433.8
Temp was either 94 or 97, can't remember, but temp in dyno bay was about 107.
Obviously, mine is a tad low on hp and a fair bit better on torque than your two vehicles. I assume this is due to production variations.
I am considering a little exhaust change and possibly the air filter mods we have been talking about. If so, I will re-dyno the truck. BTW, the dyno is Nascar certified and current, so I imagine my numbers should be accurate.
