Hey: i just read the post about the guy you got your new lightning from. Something about his first generation lightning that he drag races with a 100 shot of NOS. I'm looking to run NOS on my 94 lightning and i was wondering if he could give you any info on how he plumbed his NOS system, + any mods he did to his fuel system to accomodate the nitrous. Any info will be much appreceiated thanx.

Seems like he tapped into the air inlet hose after the filter and close to the throttle body. Not sure but seems like that is what he did. I`ll ask and post. It may be several days before I get back to you. He said he would give the stangs hell.

summit has a kit for lightnings (100-150hp) and other generic fuel injected rides. you need to splice into fuel line to pick up fuel for mixing with nitrous. then you need to drill one hole in the air feed tube to the throttle body for the mixing jet and thats it, pretty simple. i used my nitrous only solinoid on my 99.5, hopeing the big injectors and pump would give me enough fuel as not to "lean out". it worked pretty well with the 100hp jet, no pinging.
