Wowa; maybe I said it wrong! I wasn't blaming Sal at all; just didn't know what happened to it, and was making a statement that the tune shouldn't have been a problem.

I meant no harm. I know this SUCKS BIG TIME. Did he say if it sounded like it over reved??? If the valve was all burnt up i'd question tune. Maybe something happened and it didn't shift and over reved.

Maybe just a bad spring and **** luck. That would be the case with me.

who built the motor? or should i say who built the heads?


and how many miles on them?

Sping snapped in 2 places leaving 3 pieces of spring rattling around.The retainer let the valve go. This has nothing to do with a tune. There wasn't over revving his dad was driving it when it happened.
