Black carpet install

Is there anyone in the tampa area who could give me a hand on installing a black carpet? Ive pulled everything out already but i just can seem to get the carpet to fit right. (it is from acc) I'd rather have some one with experience guide me through than to start hacking away at it and mess it up.thanks

Here's a tip...

Let it sit in the direct sunlight for an hour or two.

It is easier to work with.

hacking away? it should be pre-cut you shouldn't have to cut anything but the bolt holes.
Mine fit perfectly, it is a bit stiff but the fit was good. It did set for a week in my basement un-rolled before I installed it.

tip. dont cut out the holes initially for the bolts just cut a small slit or mark it w\tape. That way if your off some you dont have a big out of place hole to deal with.

Hum; I had to trim mine around the front area and the back corners. Other than that it was just the bolt holes and for my console conversion.

SO far, but Iv'e only had them for a couple of weeks. I picked them up for about $50 on ebay. They are comparible to stock minus the little hook thingy that keeps them stationary. I have a feeling that chickenears mats are mucho better but my budget$$ were almost gone then I saw these. Overall, I'm happy with them. Easy to clean w\stiff brush.

be very careful with those mats that dont use the holding ring. i.e. mat getting bunched up and holding you accelorator to the floor while your at WOT.... dont ask me how i know this....

I wouldn't be worried about that, but if you are, put a couple of pieces of velcro on the bottom of the mat (use the side that sticks to the carpet), and it won't move.
