RWTD sent me two tunes ones says 15 degrees and the other 17. i assumed the 15 is a little more mild and practical. and the 17 is faster. am i right?

 

The 15* tune will definitely be "safer" but the 17* tune will make more power. Both tunes should be "safe" as long as the A/F is correct and you don't have any detonation.

 

I have a 15\17 also from RWTD. I'm running the 17 now and will continue to until it hits around the 50's or I get detonation. The 15 is milder and what I would consider a winter tune. The 17 is a perfect daily driver street\strip tune for me.

 

If you go 17 make sure to use 93 octane.

 

so if im mostly driving it and a bit of street racing. it looks like the 17 is better. what one gets better mpg?

 

Wow...I am running 19 on my street tune and 23 on my race tune.

 

If I keep my foot out of it I can get right at 14mpg w\17 tune. I dont think you will see a big difference between the two. The biggest difference is w\your foot
