Amen, brother. Been a biker off and on for 40 years. And black, well, it doesn't make a lot of sense here in Florida I know, but I'm kinda stuck in a color rut I guess. Nothing's better looking when it's clean. Just wish that unsoiled look lasted longer than 10 minutes. The price of beauty.

Glad to have another Harley rider in the group. I used to have an FXLR, loved it! Now have '98 FLHTC and '97 S1 Lightning to go with Red '99 Lightning. Maybe I'll see you at Bike Week or Biketoberfest?

Have thought about an FLH myself, but when I look at my FXLR I can't bring myself to sell it. Like the S1 too, but don't know if I could fit myself on it for long periods of time. (getting old, I guess)

Hey, my ole lady and me rarely miss Bike Week or Biketoberfest. Traffic's a real bitch, of course, but it's the best people watching in the world. Lots of fun.

A Lightning and a bike make a great combo, don't they?
