Moroso Trans Pan & Trans Fluid Level

Hello all, just installed the Moroso Pan and FTVB this weekend. The FTVB works great but I do have a concern. After installing the parts, I added 10 quarts of Mercon. Took the truck for a spin, came back and the level read in the 'cold' section. So I said no prob, I'll top it off with another quart, took it for another drive thru all the gears, checked the level again it it still read in the 'cold' section. I'm now up to 12.5 quarts and it still read in the 'cold' section. With the engine off, the level soars above 'do not add' section.

I don't get it. How much should the level of the dipstick rise per quart?

I know it's estimated that the Moroso pan holds 4+ more than the stocker, and now I'm up to 12.5. Should I keep adding more?

Please help me out. Thanks.

What he said. Just add until up to the full mark, at running temperature. Drive, or idle the truck for a little while.
