A new look for 2005

Everyone,

Well, I went ahead and did some visual enhancements to the L this past weekend.

First off, let me say that my trip to NJ was fun as usual. It was great to see everyone and have some good sandwiches (#5 at Sorrentos). Leanne, Bettina has nothing but woohooing about the Sonic Blue (so dont bring it around any more LOL), Bruce good to talk with you, I added the license plate as you suggested (See pic), Vinnie thanks for doing the late nighter and making it happen. Also, thanks to everyone at JDM and Rob G for the help. Rob, watch the mail for your copy of Blowfly.

Anyway, per recommendations of a few people, I lowered the front 1" and added a rollpan.

First off, a side shot of the new lower stance:

You would never hear this from Bettina, but 1 inch does make a difference!!!

Secondly, heres a shot of the Pro-Glass rollpan:

^^^ Gator, your license plate gift..Thanks!!!

More in a second...........

And something small that shouldn't be overlooked. Most rollpans are flat in the back, and the tailgate has a slight arch, so you may notice the difference.

But, with the Pro-Glass pan, heres what you get:

Good news, is the fit and finish was right-on. Just bolt it up, tweak it and you are golden. Bad news is, Pro-Glass doesn't have any more, so if you didn't get one, you aren't going to. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news....

When the weather breaks out of the 100's, I will hit the track and turn things up a notch and we can have another 10 second ride!!!

Have fun

Looks awesome! It was nice seeing everyone on Friday ...too bad I missed Bruce though. I wonder where he could've been hiding... all of the junior high schools are out for the summer.
BTW, tell Bettina next time you two are up here again she can take it out for the day!

Gator & SCV8,

Those are Boyds, 20x9.5 Destructor wheels.

Leanne, if Bettina takes it out for the day, you may never see it again.. LOL, it may be hidden in a garage in VA.

Its like every Ford product in Sonic Blue just induces her into a trance.

I'll catch up with you guys in a few weeks.

Later
