ok so i got a new transmission and new convertor and had it instaled yesterday well i drove it easy all day then i go to pass someone and when i shifted from 2-3 it hit hard and started to free wheel and wouldnt catch back into gear???? ok so im panickin and all of a sudden it goes into 4th and stays. Ok so im thinking i lost 3rd somehow right well i come to a stop light and it doesnt want to go into gear at all. so i put it into 2nd and pull to the side ( rember 2nd gear is a banded gear so if you manualy put it into 2nd then it will mov unless you have totaly inialted it" so i sart playing around and i find if i lock out overdrive then the tranny works fine through 1st 2nd and 3rd, then while im in 3rd if i release the od lock out it will go into 4th. but if i leave the od lock out off then it doesnt work at all, so im fairly confident that this is an electrical thing. any ideas???
