HEAD & SHORT-BLOCK COMPARISONS

HI all!! I might be doing a long-block swap or at least replacing my heads soon, and I was wondering who has the best bang for the buck? I want a bulletproof bottom-end and a good flowing top end for my 2001 L. Forged componenets and h-beam rods are a MUST. New ideas are greatly welcome but I want to talk to people that have actually USED these build-ups, and get some "customer" feedback before I make a decision and "SWIPE" that card. Thanks guys!! Your info and opinions are always appreciated, great group we have here!! Brandon K

Hi Brandon, JLP has an awsome deal on a shortblock right now. Im running his bottomend which i can say so far has been rock solid. Alot of other people here run it also and i can honestly say i cant recall one ever blowing up. As far as heads im running his heads also. they are cnc ported with stainless ferrera oversize valves ,comp behive springs ,titanium retainers the works. Dont have any flow specs but the ports are huge on both ends. He also has a sale on these now. The cams are a different story . I had purchased stage IIs from him but now i see they can be had for 1/2 the price i paid,My only beef otherwise im a happy customer. Good luck with your buildup.
